3 Keys - to live to please God
1) Live by the Word, not by the world
Qns: Do you allow the world to set the standard for you?
World Standard: Kia-su, Kia-si
Live according to the Bible=) Heb 4:12 - When your life is down, when all your strength is gone, and you can't fight anymore, you have no more hope, HOW? LIVE BY THE WORD.
Heb 4:12 12For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
the Word is LIVING 1 Tim 4:10 10(and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.
the Word is ACTIVE James !:21-22 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. 22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
the Word PENETRATES Isa 55:11 -allow the word to give you strength and wisdom.
Don't give up the active n living Word of God=)
2) Live a life out of conviction=) not of convenience.
Conviction goes beyong just beliefs. - people die for their conviction
Christianity is not a convenience religion. 2Tim
- a convicted christian will be prosecuted=)
3) When we make sinful choices/mistakes, learn from your mistake and RECOVER from it=)
-loser stay at comfort zone, so don't stuck in the past=)
Isa 40:30-31 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
strength is being renewed by EXCHANGING your strength with GOD'S STRENGTH=)
