A poem for your thought

My friend, I stand in judgment now
and feel that you are to blame somehow.
While on this earth, I walked with you day by day,
and never did you point the way.

You knew the Lord in truth and glory,
but never did you tell the story.
My knowledge then was very dim,
you could have led me safe to Him.

Though we live together here on earth,
you never told me of your second birth.
And now I stand this day condemned,
because you failed to mention Him.

You taught me many things, that's true.
I called you a friend and trusted you.
But now I've learnt, now too late.
You could have kept me from this fate.

We walked by day and talked by night,
yet you showed me not the light.
You let me live, love and die
and all the while you knew, I could never live on high.

Yes, I called you friend in life.
and trusted you in joy and strife.
yet in coming to this end,I see you really weren't my friend.

Just saturday, one of the best preacher spoke about procrastination and so if you have hear the word of God and procrastinate to do His work, it would all be futile.(You wouldn't want to be like this 'friend' which is mentioned in the above poem) So do remember that we are all called to do His work and that He did not called the prepared/ better/smarter/stronger ones but the willing ones to do His work. All those in the OT may not have been ready but when God called them, they sure were willing.

1 Corinthians 1:27 (NKJV)But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

Have a blessed september school holiday and remember to stop procrastinating about the 20 things you have listed and start fulfilling each of the item listed.

Much love,
joys
